Chỉ sự kiêng khem, tránh né không dứt khoát, bề ngoài tránh điều không nên nhưng thực chất vẫn gián tiếp tiếp nhận hoặc dính vào nó. Thường dùng để chê cách làm nửa vời, hình thức, không giải quyết tận gốc.
